Currently in business Gaikan Expressway Misato out of the junction (JCT) ~ Takaya junction (JCT), East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. has promoted the construction in Misato from JCT Misato is extended 4.1Km of to the south interchange (IC) I will open it.

Gaikan Expressway is a ring road that connects approximately 15km from central Tokyo. Ken-O Road together with the Central Circular Route, constitutes a metropolitan 3 ring road, a large role in constitute a road network in equilibrium metropolitan area, to smoothly distribute the traffic to focus on downtown area Will fulfill.
With this opening, a total of 33.7 km will be opened, including the Oizumi JCT-Misato JCT (29.6 km) that has already been opened, and 40% of the total plan of about 85 km will be completed.
At the time of construction, we switched the national highway No. 298 to ensure traffic safety and performed process control aiming at early opening.
