2. Construction overview

We will be carrying out repairs to the road heating buried under the road surface on Hokuriku Expressway Out-bound lane between Noe IC and Nakadachiyahama IC.
As road heating repairs take a long time, lane restrictions will be in place throughout the day.
This construction is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Road heating: A device that raises the temperature of the road surface to melt snow and prevent ice from building up.

3. Requests for special vehicles

Due to restrictions imposed by this construction, special vehicles over 3.0m wide will not be able to pass through. Customers who wish to use this road are asked to take a detour to nearby roads.
In addition, please note that if a special vehicle permission (※) has only been obtained for Expressway routes, you will also need to obtain permission for general roads.

  • What is a special vehicle permit?
    Based on the Road Act and the Vehicle Restrictions Ordinance, this refers to the procedures required for special vehicles that exceed general restrictions (length, weight, width, etc.) to travel on public roads.
