East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
We will continue to support everyone who has made various efforts due to the earthquake disaster and is making an effort to rebuild their lives, and is also making an effort for the recovery and reconstruction of the area.
We made every effort to complete the main restoration work of Expressway, which was damaged by the earthquake, and completed it by the end of 2012. In addition, Joban Expressway between Joban-Tomioka IC and Namie IC, which had been highly anticipated by local residents, was opened to traffic on March 1, 2015, and Joban Expressway was fully opened to traffic. This was followed by the Okuma IC in March 2019 and the Joban Futaba IC in March 2020. We will continue to support the reconstruction of the region through the planned four-lane expansion and further functional enhancement of the Expressway.
