From Saturday, March 9th to Sunday, March 24th, 2024, NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office exhibited nominated works for the "3rd Marine Infographic Contest" sponsored by the Ocean and Japan Project in Tokyo on the 4th floor of the Umihotaru Parking Area.
The "Marine Infographic Contest" is a contest in which elementary school students collaborate with art school students to create infographic posters based on independent research reports about the ocean, and then give a presentation. (More details here)
As the world's largest marine civil engineering project, Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway has been addressing marine issues since its construction, and it will continue to be necessary to continue to consider the marine environment when carrying out maintenance and management. Our company sympathizes with this contest, which aims to raise awareness of the connection with the ocean for each individual in response to the marine issues facing the world, and exhibited our work for the second time following the second contest last year.
