East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.

On February 29 2024, NEXCO EAST Japan donated measles vaccines and nutritional therapeutic foods to vulnerable children around the world through the UNICEF Support Gift program run by the Japan Committee for UNICEF (hereinafter referred to as "UNICEF").
This activity was carried out in order to fulfill our corporate social responsibility, in support of UNICEF's objectives of promoting the rights and healthy development of all children, and as an effort to contribute to Goal 3 of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), which is to "Ensure good health and well-being for all."
This donation will be made through a system in which UNICEF support gifts will be donated in accordance with the following initiatives:

  • Number of correct answers to the “SDGs mini test” conducted during our SDGs month in September 2020
  • Number of employees who took the "e-learning training for the E-Shokuba creation campaign" held from September to November 2020

As a result, we were able to donate 4,440 measles vaccine doses and 2,640 nutritional food meals (total equivalent to approximately 500,000 yen) to UNICEF.
Our company will continue to work together as a group to contribute to achieving the SDGs by 2030.
