Special measures regarding the validity period of business management reviews in light of the impact of the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake

2024 The Management Evaluation must be conducted after the end of the fiscal year immediately following the day one year and seven months prior to the day on which a contract is concluded with a client for public works projects. Construction companies with their principal place of business within the area of the municipality where the disaster occurred (limited to the area of Ishikawa Prefecture) as prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of the Disaster Relief Act (Act No. 118 of 1947) (Construction companies whose principal place of business is located within the area of the municipality where the disaster occurred (limited to the area of Ishikawa Prefecture) and whose business year ends between October 29, 2011 and 2024 August 30, 2023), it is sufficient for them to have undergone a business assessment from the end of the business year immediately following October 28, 2022, only from 2024 September 1 to March 31, 2025. The new law requires that the applicant must have undergone a management review on or after the end of the fiscal year immediately following October 28, 2022.
Therefore, the same applies to our competitive eligibility screening and individual orders for which we require a written notice of overall evaluation (Keiken).
